About Nat Augustin
Nat Augustin is a very versatile musician who plays guitar and trombone. Nat has worked with many talented artists and groups including Whitney Houston, Lemar, Gabrielle, Shola Ama, Gwen Dickey of Rose Royce , Betty Wright, Janet Kay, Spandua Ballet, Boy George, Rick Astley, Another Level, Shakira, Kenny G , Pet Shop Boys, Imagination, Lulu, Swing Out Sister, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Alexander O’ Neal and many more.

Nat has been a member of the successful brit funk band Light Of The World for 30 years who still gig regularly. He had a spell as a solo singer in the late eighties and had a hit record in Europe entitled Ego. After this period Nat Joined Imagination for two years when Ashley Ingram left. In the nineties he set up his own production company that specialised in writing music and jingles for television and radio, they wrote the theme tune to the successful comedy series The Real Mckoy for the BBC.

Nat’s song writing and production skills led him into and producing and remixing under the name Natty & Slaps, with production partner Carlton White for Baby Face, Stevie Wonder, Genuine and many more.
Nat has co-produced the new Alexander O’Neal Love Ballads album that includes a duet featuring Mica Paris.

Nat has just finished a tour with Andy Abraham, Kenny Thomas, Eddie Holman and Alexander O’Neal all on the same bill with Nat As musical director. Also Nat was involved in a one off show at the 02 with Light Of The World, D-Train, Colonel Abrams with Nat as MD and LOTW as Backing band for the Artists.

As a George Benson tribute act he has opened up for Alexander O’Neal on four of his major tours.

Nat also Sings with Heatwave while still touring and Writing with Light Of The World.
